About Sarah Dryden
Sarah Dryden is a freelance photographer whose work has been exhibited and published across Europe, Australia, and the United States of America.
Sarah has worked as a Senior Lecturer at Solent University, Southampton within the School of Art, Design and Fashion for the last 14 years. Her specialist subjects include Research Methods, Narrative Construction, Visual Communication and Historical and Cultural Studies. In 2018 she was awarded ‘Outstanding Teacher of the Year’ following her nomination by the Student Union at Solent University.
Sarah is currently undertaking a Research Degree entitled Imagining The Home: A Practice-Based Critical Investigation into the United States Western Frontier Domestic Space and its Mediated Form, focusing on the relationship between history and mediation. Sarah’s research interests include the domestic home space and landscape photography.
